The Heart of McKenzie Stock & Style
This is where the foundation of our program begins. Long before the jewelry, the art, or the fashion, there are the horses. McKenzie Stock is the part of my brand built on raising colts the right way and starting them with patience, clarity, and compassion. Good horses are made long before the first ride, and that belief guides everything I do.
Raised with Intention
My colts grow up in a calm, consistent environment with plenty of turnout and daily handling. They are taught early that people are safe and predictable and that learning is something to be enjoyed, not feared. Basic groundwork, exposure to equipment, and simple routines give them a foundation of confidence that follows them into every stage of their training.
A Soft and Honest Start
When it is time to begin under saddle work, the focus is always on understanding before anything else. I keep the first rides quiet and clear so the colt never feels overwhelmed or rushed. Flexions, yields, body control, and following feel are introduced in a way that builds softness and connection. A good start sets the tone for the rest of a horse’s life, so I take the time to make it right.
Training that Builds a Future
As each colt develops, they are introduced to different environments and experiences. Arena time, pasture riding, obstacles, and lots of time on the trails, all help them become thinking, willing partners. I want every colt leaving my program to be relaxed, responsive, and able to step confidently into any direction their future owner chooses.

Love the Horse First
Everything in the McKenzie Stock approach comes back to one simple truth. Reward the try. These colts are never pushed to meet deadlines. They are guided in a way that builds trust, understanding, and long term soundness. A good horse begins with a good start, and that is the heart of McKenzie Stock.
NO AVAILABLE HORSES AT THIS TIME
At this time we do not have any horses available. In the future we will offer a limited number of quality 2 and three 3 olds that have been raised and started through the McKenzie Stock program.

Building Trust
True horsemanship isn’t defined by perfect tack, expensive equipment, or the latest training trends, it’s defined by connection. And that connection starts with love.

Reward the Try
How do we make a willing horse, one who wants to be a team player and truly partner with us instead of fighting against us?
